IP City Hotel Osaka

The staff are very nice and the place is clean and I feel safe as solo traveler.I like how spacious my room is and feels very relaxed after walking all day. Would definitely recommend to people

Convenient and clean hotel, helpful staff.

breakfast was fine and the location was also fine near the train station

it is better to put an area for microvalve oven, so other guests who are in the budget can eat

Staff, especially the Indian guy was rude not accommodating at all.

Beds were tiny...we are 6 foot tall people. Staff were just ignorant and not accommodating. Will never recommend.

Only the reception landing has good interior British style design.

Initially we were given smoking floor. We had to change and then was given family room.Family room is just two double-beds crammed in a normal single room. No space to open luggage, etc.Also, seems they don't vacuum or tidy under the beds :(

Well-located, clean though rather dated room.

Charging facilities were located on the bed which meant sleeping with a bundle of cords next to me.

Room size are big compare to other in japan.

Even though I went during autumn when the weather was around 7-16 degrees, I still felt hot, and the room air conditioning did not function properly. I had to keep the window open all the time, which resulted in a lot of noisy sounds

It was close to the train station

We booked a double bed for 2 people, we slept on a single bed for 4 nights!

Great location.. It's very near to Metro station.. Very near Shinsaibashi Shopping area... Few good restaurant surrounding the hotel...

Just that the double bed is smaller than normal queen size bed...

The location was great and the hall decoration was exceptional but it seems like they spent their whole budget there and its a bit dissapointing when you go upstairs…

We got a room for smokers (booking a non-smoking room) and the air windows were covered in dust. The side tables look like a shoe box glue to the wall, and the bathroom is from the 70s. Also the curtain was in the middle of the bed. The view from the window was not great either. Definitely not worthing the money we paid.

Wifi did not work, bed sheets and pillow were horrible, staff was taking a nap during check out.

The excellent service upon checked in. I booked a double room for 2 adults and 1 child (12 yo), when checked in, the staff told me that the bed would not be comfortable to sleep for 3 persons, it was too small. He offered me to upgrade my room or stayed in the same room with 2 single beds which space will be a bit narrow if I didn't mind. I accept the 2nd option. The room was clean, hotel is near to station, shinsaibashi and dotonbori. Neighborhood is quite.

Room and floors just a little dated.

even we pay and change for a bigger room' this were very small and similar to the other oneso pitty for the moneyrun away from this hotel

The hotel is a very short walk to dotonburi and the train station.

The toilet had a weird smell in our room.

Staff was very helpful and could communicate in English, which as I've found out is not at all a given in big city Japanese hotels. Shower ran hot right away and had a *lot* of pressure.

AC was weak, might be a problem if you're staying during the summer.

Good location, good space.The decoration of the hotel is very good, and the quality of the bath products is very high, and it is very comfortable to use.

The wifi sucks, the sound insulation is not good

Our room wasn’t super clean - contact lens packaging from previous guest was left in the room etc. Otherwise great!
